About The Kwame Vibe

Meet Kwame - where two decades of broadcasting excellence collide with pure DJ artistry to create something truly electric.

From winning the 2025 Vermont Broadcaster of the Year to earning a prestigious 2018 Marconi Award nomination, Kwame has spent over 20 years mastering the art of sonic storytelling. As a broadcast journalist, he’s commanded airwaves across Top 40, News, and R&B formats, working with industry giants like iHeartRadio, Townsquare Media, and Connoisseur Media.

But here’s where it gets interesting - all that radio precision and audience intuition? It translates into DJ sets that are absolutely magnetic.

The Kwame Vibe isn’t just about playing music; it’s about reading rooms, understanding energy, and creating moments that stick with you long after the last beat drops. Drawing on his rich Ghanaian heritage, Kwame weaves cultural authenticity into House, Afrobeats, Pop, and EDM in ways that feel both familiar and fresh.

Whether he’s commanding festival stages from Vermont to Montreal’s vibrant circuit or creating intimate magic at wedding celebrations, Kwame brings that rare combination of technical mastery and genuine soul that only comes from years of professional excellence.

This is what happens when award-winning broadcasting expertise meets a pure passion for moving people.

This is The Kwame Vibe.

My Passion..

Music has been the heartbeat of my life for as long as I can remember. There's something magical that happens when the right song meets the right moment - and I live for creating those moments. Whether I'm curating the perfect radio segment or reading a crowd's energy on the dance floor, it's never been just about the music for me; it's about the connection.

My Ghanaian heritage runs deep in everything I do, giving me a deep appreciation for how music transcends borders and brings people together. When I see someone lose themselves in an Afrobeats rhythm, or watch a wedding crowd erupt when that perfect song drops, that's when I know I'm exactly where I'm meant to be.

After 20+ years in broadcasting, I've learned that great music isn't just about technical perfection - it's about understanding people. It's about recognizing that every person in the room has a soundtrack to their life, and my job is to find the common threads that unite us on the dance floor. From intimate house sets to massive festival stages, I'm constantly amazed by music's power to create genuine human connection.

That's what The Kwame Vibe is really about - using music as a bridge between hearts, cultures, and moments that matter.
